Contact the customer care centre of the bank which had issued this credit card to block it immediately so no one can misuse it. now a days all credit cards are insured against unauthorised use in case of any theft or card being stolen, one can report immediately to customer care of that company n register a FIR with local police station.

Did u inform the credit card company of the theft before/after registering the FIR. If u have not advised the Credit Card provider of the loss of your card, then u are responsible, But if u have informed the credit card company about this loss, before the credit card was misused, then u have no liability.


In either case, the issue has to be sorted our between you and the credit card company.
