What's the worst case scenario that could happen if I don't pay my credit card bills???

I know some people are able to get away with it... what are the chances that I can do so as well???What's the worst case scenario that could happen if I don't pay my credit card bills???
The better question would be why do you want to avoid your responsibility? The credit card bills were created by you and your spending. You should take responsibility for yourself and your finances.

As to the consequences, the credit card company will report that you have not paid the bill and the amount you owe, all the while the account will continue to accrue finance charges. Eventually, it will be sent into collections and that will be notated on your credit report as well. Almost every company that you do business with will get a copy of that report. If you still avoid paying the bill, they can eventually take you to court and garnish your wages, which means they will automatically take money from your paycheck to pay your debt. You could also have property liens set against you, which means that if you have a house, car, a motorcycle or anything of value, they can put a lien on it. This means that they have the right to take, hold or sell that piece of property. All of this is linked to your social security number and regardless of where you move, you will still be effected by it.

I would first call the credit card company and ask them if they can reduce your finance charges. Tell them that you are having trouble paying your bills but want to pay what you owe. Try at least paying the minimum amount due on time each month. STOP using the credit card. Then after you have it cleared up, I suggest you ask them to close the account since you are not financially able to handle the responsibility of having a credit card at this point. You should try using cash for all your payments or a check for bills like rent, so that you can actually see the money you are spending. You will spend less money if you actually have to hand over the cash.

Overall, your chances of getting away with it....slim to none. What's the worst case scenario that could happen if I don't pay my credit card bills???
In the long run neither you nor your friends will get away with this. Your credit ratings will be ruined, you will all be caught. And depending on the amount and frequency of your scam you may end up in jail. You'll certainly never be able to buy anything on credit. I'd say good look, but I hope scammers such as yourself get caught because it's the rest of us who are good with our credit who pay for your scam. You are not stealing from some nameless corporation, you are stealing from us due to the higher rates the lenders have to charge all of us due to scum such as yourself. Sleep well dirtbag.
You will ruin your credit for a long time! Don't do it! I can tell you from experience that this is the worst possible thing to do to yourself. You can't get things in life as easy as everyone else (i.e. credit cards, apartments, cars, etc.). Nnot paying your credit cards could also cause you to have to file for bankruptcy, which will further downgrade your chances of getting the finer things in life.
no chance whatsoever...they will call, they will write, they will destroy your credit report, they will finally summon you into court. in the meantime you can't qualify to live anywhere decent, you can't buy a decent car if your current one dies, your car insurance will go incrediably high because it is based on your credit score in some places, even if the credit card company does forgive some or all of the amount owed to them, the federal government has passed laws that says that the forgiveness amount is now taxable income so you have to eat that amount.

the best thing to do is contact your credit card company and attempt to set us automatic withdrawal of funds out of your checking account until the amount is paid in full...during this time they will usually stop the interest accruing which is killing you every month i'm sure.

i don't envy you but do the right thing and try and salvage what you can of your credit by paying back the debt.
just make sure you move, and dont tell the stupid gov where you live, make sure you leave no paper trails.. just start a new life somewhere else, my friend. life is good without the ******* gov. breathing down your neck %26amp; screwing with your life
Your friends are have lied to you because no one gets away with it and your chances are zero.

What you will give up is easy:

No apartment, because of your credit score.

No new car, because of you credit score.

No more credit cards, because of score.

Limit jobs you can get, because of score.

Let's face it the collectors always find you. It could take them years but whenever you use your SS number to get anything. Bang they have you.

So getting away with it. Good luck with that.
Nobody can get away with not paying a credit card bill in their name. It will ruin your credit. Understand also that essentially you are committing theft. You borrowed money and now you just want to avoid paying it back? There is a moral factor involved, and the fact that you think this would be somehow ok is as much of a problem as not paying. But the worst case is a terrible credit report, the inability to buy anything on credit from a cell phone to a car to a house, and eventually you would be forced to pay it off anyway through collection agencies. It never goes away.
you could loose a LOT of money
Well the bank keep contact on you and let you pay your credit card bills the best thing to do is to find financial advicer or a find another bank consolidate all your bills. In that way you just pay one bill account payment for a month so it will bit easy to you to use your money for food on the table, gas, and ect.So I hope that I can help you my advice.
