What happens in football in the case of Martin Taylor and his red card?

I see him was suspended this week. How long will this suspension last? Does it have to go to a board? Sorry I am a woman Arsenal fan and love Eduardo, but have to say it was a bad tackle, but obviously he didnt intend to break his leg. I bet he will dread returning himself anyway. What happens in football in the case of Martin Taylor and his red card?
Poor old Taylor, yep a 3 match ban is standard and i understand that the FA will leave it as that, but, there is a very strong rumour and possibility that Eduardo's agent has spoken to legal advisors with a view to taking further action, now i am sure that Eduardo doesn't want this and the FA doesn't want it, but if any action is taken then Arsenal and Wenger will jump on the band wagon so that they can have their pound of flesh. I started with poor old Taylor because clearly Eduardo was too fast for him, he has to live with what has happened, he and his family have been threatened, he has been advised to move away for a while and now the threat of legal action. Hey it is good to see an Arsenal supporteter admitting that clearly no malice was intended, good luck to Arsenal tomorrow night. Take care and good luck. What happens in football in the case of Martin Taylor and his red card?
It was a badly timed tackle against a skilful player who was travelling at great speed. Taylor rightly received a red card and will serve a 3 match ban and I think this is all he deserves.
it is about right usaully in the us red card means one game
he's suspended for three games as it was a straight red and because the ref took immediate action on the pitch the FA doesn't need to get involved.
3 Game ban, Eduardo has clearly stated that he knows no malice was intended so why dont you just let it lie.
According to the insidearsenal website, they have petitioned the FA to ban Taylor for 38 matches, the FA have declined to agree with them and decided to ban him for 3.
He's been banned for three games - the normal procedure when a player is given a straight red card.
This suspension would last for 3 matches.
If they suspended him for a week, He would miss one game.

Usually a ban is 3 matches, Which is 3 weeks in total. But

Taylor just deserves a 3 match ban, and then we can all get

over it.
Taylor is banned for 3 matches
Taylor got the standard 3 match ban for a red card offence so there was no ';special'; punishment, which in my opinion is correct.
the english disciplinary association gave him a 3 match ban. I hate arsenal, but i feel sorry for eduardo.
I agree, the normal procedure should be carried out. It was a battle tackle, therefore warrenting a red card. And therefore a 3 match ban. But there was no malice, and so there should be no extra punishment. It was just unfortunate.
The racists only suspended that psychopath for three matches! If he were non-British he'd have been banned for the season.
