I have a slimcase computer and my graphics card wont fit. can i switch all the components to bigger case?

its a dell optiplex and i just wanted to know if i switched the components to a bigger case would the graphics card (since its not a dell manufactured card) and the computer operate properly?I have a slimcase computer and my graphics card wont fit. can i switch all the components to bigger case?

yes, i've done this many times for people with heat problems in small form factor cases. just make sure the case you are using has the correct mounting points for your motherboard, they are usually brass standoffs. if you are careful and hook everything up right, it will work just fine.
